A Breath of Praise Community Church was founded before the foundations of the world, but brought into existence on April 8th , 2007.
In December 2006, Minister Jordan was praying in the chapel at Seton Hospital while his wife (Faith) was preparing to give birth to their third beautiful daughter Layla. While in prayer for the safety and health of his wife and child, the Lord suddenly spoke and moved on his heart with a strong conviction, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to plant a church in the Round Rock area.
After praying and fasting he stepped out on faith and announced his calling on February 2007. Minister Jordan then proceeded to search for a location, and within two months the Lord found a location and start date of April 8, 2007, Easter Sunday.
There was one problem; Minister Jordan did not have a congregation. With such a short period of time for preparation, and one week left before opening the Lord's church, only one person decided to follow him. But because Minister Jordan is a man of faith, he pressed forward. On April 8, 2007 the doors of the church opened and nothing short of a miracle happened; without any advertising or promotions, sixty people showed up, and as a result, A Breath of Praise church, is serving the kingdom of God the community .
While praying in the chapel for the birth of this third child Layla, Minister Jordan did not realize the birth of his daughter would forever be a constant reminder that God gave birth to his child and his ministry.
At a Breath of Praise it is our Vision and Mission to become a powerful force in spreading God's word and to equip His people to live a life worthy of their calling in Christ Jesus.
2Thessalonians 1:11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power...
